The Curtain Expert has been making custom curtains and blinds for Singapore homes and offices since 2007. Over 1000 installations, across HDB, condominium, landed and commercial spaces.
What has kept customers coming back, and sending their friends, is not the fabrics or the hardware. It's that our quotes include installation, our consultants don't push, and our work is built to hold up long after the trend cycle has moved on.
The Curtain Expert started in 2007 with a small workshop, a handful of installers, and one clear conviction: custom curtains and blinds were not an indulgence. They were a functional part of a Singapore home, something every household eventually needed, and something almost always sold badly. Too much jargon. Too much upselling. Too many hidden line items added after the quote. Too many installations that looked right on day one and sagged by year two.
What began as a handful of HDB bedroom installations a week has grown into a team of over 20 across consulting, fabrication and installation, and into work that now spans the full Singapore housing spectrum, from 3-room BTO packages to landed-home outdoor systems to commercial fit-outs for offices, retail and hospitality.

The work has changed. The weather has not. A curtain that holds up through a few monsoon seasons and five years of morning sun is a different object from one that looks good in a showroom. After 1000+ installations, we know which fabrics fade, which mechanisms jam, which brackets pull away from concrete, and which tracks sit flush against an HDB ceiling without rework. That learning is not written down anywhere. It lives in the people who have been measuring and installing Singapore windows for nearly two decades.
Most of what we do is still what we started doing: go to a customer's place, measure their windows, recommend what fits, quote one number, install, and stay reachable if anything needs adjusting.

A curtain that sags, fades or jams in 18 months has cost the customer twice: once in money, once in trust. We would rather quote a slightly higher-grade fabric and hardware than win on a lower number and lose on performance. Nineteen years of customers calling us back for their second and third homes is the evidence that this approach works.
Your quote is one number. Measurement, fabric, hardware, tracks, brackets, motor controllers (where applicable), and installation, all in. No line items added later, no "surprise" charges on the day, no fitting fees held back. If you want to change fabric mid-process, we re-quote with the difference shown clearly, so you see exactly where the cost moved.
We recommend what fits your space and your budget. Sometimes that means a simpler package than you came in expecting, or a recommendation to wait until your renovation finishes. We do not earn anything by talking you into a motorised system for a window you can reach with one hand.
A curtain sample on a showroom wall can't show how fabric looks in your living room at 4pm. We visit your home to see the light throughout the day. We consider your wall colours and furniture. Then we recommend the right fabric weight, track length, and drop. These small choices are the difference between a room that feels finished and one that doesn't.
