About Zebra / Rainbow Blinds
Rainbow blinds are striped double layer blinds made of sheer or perforated material and polyester. They are also known as shadow blinds, combi blinds or Korean blinds. Initially created in South Korea around 2014, Korean blinds have since become increasingly popular worldwide, especially in Singapore.
One roller blind made of two fabric layers, each with alternating horizontal bands of solid fabric and open sheer.
When the bands align, the sheer sections let light through and you can see out. Shift the layers and the solid bands overlap, giving privacy. Functionally, it is the same mechanism as a Korean / combi blind: one blind, two modes. The visible difference is that zebra blinds make the alternating-band pattern part of the look.

Standard solid bands are dim-out. We can spec full blackout solid bands at extra cost; for bedroom-grade dark, pair the zebra with a curtain layer behind it.
